Steve, just one more thing: Fuck you. A.K.A. Did you ever think at any point that I really did care?

There is a fine line between patriotism, Republicanism, and stupidity. Folks, it's just been crossed.

Kon'nichiwa, hajime mashite? Yea so that's what I've been doing with my time, learning japanese. Slowly yet surely i will master the laguage of the people to the east. Things have been pretty hectic around here lately. So far I've been occupying my time with an independent manga script in the works, work, a small home business (making animation cells and selling them online), plus attempting to put together a portfolio. Surprising enough I did manage to get myself a boyfriend and then there's what people call my new passion dance dance revolution, a.k.a. the happy arrow stomping game. So that's pretty much my past six months. Ki o tsukete ne, SAYOONARA!!!

The return to Scranton is looking more promising everyday... Midterm time here at Kutztown, though I don't have any which is weird. Anyways I think my profs are all plotting against me planning test and papers all due on the same day!! Well despite the work load of poems, short stories, papers, and studying things are looking up as the countdown begins to springbreak March 14 I'm coming home! Hope all of you enjoy your breaks not sure when they are, if your spending them in good old West Side or some vacation spot! :-)
It's one for the money, two for the rhymes, Big C's back yet one more time. It's mid-terms week here at Keystone, and being an art major, that means a great lack of sleep for me. Last Friday I had an 8-hour, self-portrait, full body study due for Life Drawing I worth two grades. This week - a two part project, my Mystery Machine made out of paper. One version is the framework/negative space version of the vehicle and the second is the full detail model. That's due Thursday. Then there's a lithograph print due on Friday morning and the threat of Spring Break assignments hanging over my head. Meanwhile, I plan on trying out for the "Keystone Idol" contest here on campus with some - get this - ORIGINAL STAND UP MATERIAL. That's right. I finally broke down and wrote something of my own. I need to get my hands on a credit card to order Taking Back Sunday tickets for March 23 in Phillie, but I also need to find the time to make money to pay for the tix. As you can see, a lot has happened and there's not enough time to cover it all. But such is life. The template for TRWSS is not in the works yet, but the first few truly free minutes I get, I'm going to give it a shot. That's all for now. In the words of Brian Regan, "WHERE YA GOIN', THUNDER?!?"

I'd like to welcome everyone: Mary Kay, Chris, James, and Sarah; to this collaborative blog! My name's Steve, and you might be wondering where I got the idea for this little project. I had a great senior year at West Scranton, and an even better summer. But by the time August was waning into September things were changing. Most of our high school was off to college. Some were off to other jobs, the military, "beauty school" (right Joe?, lol) or back to laying around the house doing nothing. I was off to American University in Washington DC, and I've loved (almost) every drama filled, chaotic minute of it. That's another story altogether.
Anyway I began to realize for some people this was the end of their relationships with high school friends. So many people from West that I considered a friend just drifted away, some quicker than others. The fact remained, almost everyone saw moving forward as leaving behind their past life. I understand of course the difficulty in maintaining friendship over the immense distance change can bring. It's to be noted that 3 of the 5 writers of this site are attending school outside the city. At its core, I wanted a way for friends to stay in touch, for the graduates of west to express all they've been through, and all they've learned in life. We 5 are all very different people. Yet we have one thing in common, for better or worse. West Scranton High School. And its about time this real west side story was told.

Hey there once again folks. Steve has gone ahead and made me the co-administrator of this mad creation. I'm gonna try to find some spare time between my 8,000 projects to create some graphics and icons for everyone. The position isn't against anyone on the site, I just have a background in html design and a knack for design. For the "members," if you have anything you think you would like for an icon, send a picture or an idea to me at zeroonplnetnamek@hotmail.com. Thanks. Keep the peace and eat food drenched in grease.

What's up, folks? Big C is back in action on the web and it's about time. I'm glad to be part of this whole shindig. I think a cynical sense of humor is just what this will need from time to time. Hopefully, I'll be able to edit some graphics and spruce this baby up a little bit. For now, I have to go work on a project for 3-D so until next time, keep it real and say what you feel. Peace.
